Striker Jack Midson says he remains focussed on earning a regular run in the Oxford United starting eleven after two goals in the FA Trophy.Midson scored a brace to help the U's to a 3-1 win over Chelmsford.

"Hopefully I can keep my shirt and play again and keep scoring," Midson told BBC Oxford.

"I don't go into my shell when I don't get to play. I will be even more positive and when I get a game like this I'll try to put the goals in."

Oxford's other scorer in the third-round tie was Francis Green who netted his first competitive goal for the club.

Green was used in place of James Constable as United rested their 19-goal leading scorer at the Memorial Stadium.

Oxford have denied receiving any bids for Constable or any of their squad ahead of the transfer deadline on Monday.
