Oxford United have received mixed news over injuries to two midfielders.Adam Murray does not require an operation on a back problem and will step up his rehabilitation this week.
Murray told BBC Oxford: "At first it looked like I'd be out for a couple of months but if it goes to plan it could be a couple of weeks."
But Alfie Potter now faces three or four weeks on the sidelines after picking up a hamstring problem in the win over Histon.
The U's are set to send Potter for a scan on Monday but manager Chris Wilder remains realistic about the possibility of a quick return to action.
"We think Alfie will be out for three to four weeks. It is a blow as he gives us a drive going forward," Wilder said.
"It is disappointing losing Alfie as he has done well but, as always, it opens the door for someone else."
