Oxford set for Man Utd youngsters

Oxford United will take on the young rising stars from Old Trafford as they host a Manchester United XI in a pre-season friendly on 27th July.U's goalkeeping coach Alan Hodgkinson worked with the Red Devils for seven years and is no doubt about the quality of the visiting youngsters.

"The standard at Manchester United is exceptional," said Hodgkinson.

"They teach the kids properly. Alex Ferguson - in all the years I worked with him - he demands that."

Hodgkinson added: He (Ferguson) demands quality and nothing else. You can be assured that they will bring a good side when they come to Oxford."
