United boss Chris Wilder is mulling over giving loan man Sam Deering an extra month at conference south leaders Newport County after the club recieved an offer looking to extend the wingers deal.

Deering burst on the scene under former gaffer Darren Patterson however injury followed as the young winger sutained a broken leg over the new year period
Manager Chris Wilder told the Oxford Mail: "His loan finishes on Saturday, they're looking to extend it for a further month, so we've got a decision to make.

"If the loan is extended, we'll have a 24-hour recall.

"We'll have to look where our bodies and numbers are as well, and see what's best for Sam, as well as best for us.

"But, as I've said before, Sam will play a major part this season."
